The Springboks take on the best of the Southern Hemisphere in the 2nd Castle Lager Rugby Championship, starting Saturday 17th August 2013 with a home game versus Argentina at FNB Stadium in Soweto.

The first game is a unique event and a day many avid sports fans are excitedly looking forward to as it involves a double-header with Bafana Bafana, South Africa’s national football side. Personally, it sounds like a great idea on paper but let’s just wait and see what the powers-that-be decide to do regarding ticket prices, etc. We hope they get it right! At the time of writing, no opponent had been announced for Bafana Bafana but imagine the interest if it was a double-header versus Argentina with Lionel Messi et al on display!

After what we hope will be a successful trip to Argentina and the Antipodes, the Springboks return to action on home turf in Cape Town, where they take on the Wallabies, before turning their attention to the World Champions, New Zealand at South African Rugby’s happy hunting ground – Ellis Park!

African Thunder has several hospitality package options on offer for all 3 home games, including Supporter Packages, Suite and VIP Hospitality. Please contact us for further information. There are still tickets available for the June Internationals at Mbombela Stadium where we are offering SARU Engage packages at R1750.00 per person and at Loftus Versveld, starting at R2800.00 per person for suite hospitality.

African Thunder is also in the process of launching golf days on the Friday prior to the Rugby Championship games for all Springbok supporters. Fans of our opponents are also more than welcome to participate! More details will be announced in due course.
